We have an exciting opportunity for a Family Violence Case Manager to join the new Southern Family Violence Case Management Program, based in our Dandenong office.

 

The Family Violence Case Management Program:

  • Is based on recommendations from the Royal Commission into Family Violence
  • Aims to address the impact and well-being for women and children experiencing family violence
  • Is an eight (8) week intervention model, based on risk and need

 

As a case manager you will work with families and children across:

  • Risk assessments
  • Family and safety action plans
  • Short term case management
  • Referrals, advocacy and support
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other key agencies

  • Summarise your knowledge and applied use, in the context of family violence, of the family–centred approach, and the family strengthening and empowerment models of practice.
  • Summarise your knowledge and use of the Common Risk Assessment framework, the Best Interests framework, the Family Violence Act 2008, and the Child Youth and Families Act 2005
