About the opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Case Worker to join our Parenting Assessment and Skills Development Service, based in Croydon.


This role provides parenting capacity assessments for vulnerable families with infants under the age of 2 years referred by Child Protection. The successful applicant will hold a case load of 2-3 families, engage in intensive outreach case practice and possess a high level of proficiency in assessment and report writing. PASDS have access to monthly external consultation in support of case work and work in close partnership with Child Protection.


The role is permanent and part time - at 0.8 FTE (4 day week).    The role is paid at the senior SCHCADS Level 6, due to the experience required, and the skills to support the complexity of the cases.


You will need to be able to work flexible hours on occasions (starting early OR finishing late) to meet the needs of families in the early morning or early evening.

About you

To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a relevant tertiary qualification in a field related to Social Work or Psychology.
